“Battle Of Jangsari” Cast Celebrates Surpassing 1 Million Moviegoers

The film was released on September 25, and in less than two weeks, the film has attracted over one million moviegoers as of October 5.
“Battle of Jangsari” tells the story of of a group of 772 student soldiers who were trained for just two weeks and had an average age of 17 years [of Korean reckoning]. They carried out an important diversionary operation during the Korean War, risking their lives to help ensure the success of the later Battle of Incheon.


The cast and directors of “Battle of Jangsari” shared a photo to celebrate the milestone. Jang Ji Gun, Lee Ho Jung, and Kim Sung Cheol are holding balloons that spell out “100,” with the zeroes represented by hearts, while Kwak Si Yang is drawing a heart with his arms. Kim Myung Min, and directors Kwak Kyung Taek and Kim Tae Hoon have smiles on their faces.
