In Thor (2011), the Norse god of thunder, Thor, is banished from Asgard to Earth as punishment for his reckless actions. Stripped of his powers and hammer, Mjölnir, he learns humility and the value of friendship while befriending scientist Jane Foster. Meanwhile, his brother Loki schemes to take the throne of Asgard. Thor must confront Loki’s betrayal and prove himself worthy to reclaim his powers and protect both Earth and Asgard from impending danger.
