247°F (2011) is a psychological horror-thriller that explores the harrowing effects of fear and survival in a life-threatening situation. The story follows Jenna, her best friend Renee, Renee’s boyfriend Michael, and their friend Ian, who take a weekend trip to a lakeside cabin for relaxation and fun. What begins as a carefree getaway quickly turns into a nightmare when three of the friends become accidentally trapped inside a small, high-temperature sauna.

As the temperature inside the sauna begins to rise uncontrollably, panic sets in. With no way to open the door and no immediate help in sight, the group must find a way to survive the intense heat and keep their bodies from succumbing to dehydration and heatstroke. Tensions flare as the claustrophobic environment heightens emotions, bringing buried fears and personal conflicts to the surface.

Jenna, still traumatized by a past tragedy, struggles to stay composed and think rationally. The group must work together to devise a plan, but as time runs out, their efforts seem futile against the relentless, rising heat. Outside the sauna, Ian, who avoided getting trapped, is unaware of the danger his friends are facing, adding another layer of tension as their chance for rescue diminishes.

With its suffocating atmosphere and a focus on human resilience, 247°F delivers a gripping survival tale that tests the limits of endurance, teamwork, and hope. The film captures the raw emotions of desperation and fear, creating an intense and nerve-wracking experience as the characters fight to escape their deadly predicament.
