Black Water is a gripping survival thriller inspired by true events that plunges audiences into the unforgiving wilderness of the Australian mangroves.

The story follows Grace, her boyfriend Adam, and her younger sister Lee, who set out on a peaceful fishing trip in a remote swamp. What begins as a serene adventure quickly spirals into a nightmare when their boat is capsized by a massive saltwater crocodile lurking beneath the surface.

Stranded in the dense mangroves with limited supplies, the trio must find a way to survive as the predator stalks them relentlessly. Clinging to the branches of trees above the waterline, they battle rising tides, physical exhaustion, and the psychological toll of being hunted. With the crocodile lurking just out of sight, every decision becomes a life-or-death gamble, and tensions rise as fear threatens to fracture their unity.

What sets Black Water apart is its terrifying realism, using natural settings and minimal special effects to create a raw, nerve-shredding experience. The film dives deep into the primal instincts of survival, forcing its characters—and the audience—to confront the terrifying unpredictability of nature. Will courage and determination be enough to escape the jaws of death, or will the swamp claim them all?
