Black Panther 3

Set several years after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, “Black Panther 3: Rise of the Forgotten” explores the evolving dynamics of Wakanda and the wider world as it faces new challenges. Following the passing of Queen Ramonda, Wakanda is in a period of transition. Shuri has embraced her role as the new Black Panther, but she struggles with the heavy responsibility of leadership and the lingering grief of losing her family.

The film opens with Wakanda flourishing as a technological powerhouse, but political tensions rise when a new global coalition threatens its sovereignty. This coalition, led by an ambitious and charismatic leader named Dr. Elena Voss, aims to exploit Wakanda’s Vibranium resources under the guise of establishing “peace” and “cooperation.” Elena has her own tragic backstory; she lost her family in a conflict involving Vibranium, which drives her desire for control over Wakanda. As Shuri grapples with her new role, she discovers an ancient prophecy hinting at the existence of a hidden tribe that had once lived in harmony with Wakanda but was forgotten due to historical conflicts. This tribe, known as the Nodans, holds unique knowledge and powers linked to the Pan-African heritage of Wakanda Shuri (Letitia Wright): Now the Black Panther, Shuri’s journey revolves around understanding her identity and taking up the mantle of leadership. Her intelligence and creativity are tested as she navigates political intrigue and personal loss.
