Black Adam (2022)
Black Adam” is a 2022 superhero film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, based on the DC Comics character of the same name. The film stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Teth-Adam, an antihero with immense powers who emerges in the modern world after being imprisoned for nearly 5,000 years.
Set in the fictional Middle Eastern country of Kahndaq, “Black Adam” explores the origin story of Teth-Adam, a former slave who was granted extraordinary abilities by the ancient wizard Shazam. Empowered with the might of the gods, he uses his powers to seek vengeance, but his methods lead to his imprisonment. In the present day, Black Adam is released and finds himself in a world that is very different from the one he once knew. 
As Black Adam adjusts to this new era, his unyielding approach to justice brings him into conflict with various heroes and antiheroes. The Justice Society of America (JSA), including characters like Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Doctor Fate (Pierce Brosnan), Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo), and Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell), is dispatched to confront him and prevent potential chaos. However, they must also contend with a larger threat that puts the fate of Kahndaq and the world at risk.
