Set years after the fall of President Snow and the collapse of the Capitol’s authoritarian regime, “The Hunger Games 5” delves into the complex aftermath of Panem’s revolution. Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), now living a quiet life in District 12 with Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and their children, is forced back into the political spotlight when cracks begin to form in the fragile unity of Panem.

The plot centers on the emergence of a rogue faction from within the Capitol, led by former loyalists who seek to reinstate the Hunger Games, claiming it as a necessary tradition to maintain control over the districts. This new threat targets Katniss directly, exploiting her past as the Mockingjay to sow division and chaos.
As the districts become divided over the return of the Games, Katniss reluctantly steps up, navigating treachery and uncovering shocking betrayals among those she once trusted. Meanwhile, her children are placed in danger when the rogue faction abducts them, using them as leverage to force Katniss to comply with their agenda.

In a climactic showdown, Katniss leads a final rebellion, ultimately dismantling the faction’s grip on Panem. The film concludes on a bittersweet note, with Katniss finally laying her Mockingjay persona to rest, vowing to protect her family and secure lasting peace.
