Ghost recon Alpha (2012)

Ghost Recon: Alpha (2012) is a short live-action film set in the universe of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon video game series. Directed by François Alaux and Hervé de Crécy, this 24-minute film serves as a prequel to the video game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and follows the elite team of U.S. Army special forces known as the Ghosts.

 

The story is set in a near-future world where the Ghosts are tasked with eliminating a high-profile arms dealer named Boris Chevtchenko, who is believed to be behind an illegal weapons deal. The mission takes place in Eastern Europe at a heavily fortified facility, with the Ghosts aiming to stop Chevtchenko before the deal goes through.

 

The Ghost team in Alpha consists of four elite operatives:

  1. Ghost Lead (played by Keith Gilmore): The team leader, skilled in tactics and decision-making.
  2. Pepper (Raymond Cham Jr.): The team’s sniper, known for his precision and ability to take out enemies from long distances.
  3. 30K (Jimmy Akingbola): A weapons expert and the team’s heavy gunner, providing support during firefights.
  4. Chuck (Mark Ivanir): The team’s tech specialist and drone operator, skilled in electronic warfare and surveillance.

 

The film is action-packed, focusing on the tactical prowess and teamwork of the Ghosts as they infiltrate the facility. They use advanced technology, including drones, augmented reality visors, and future weapons, giving the film a futuristic military edge. The team works with precision and coordination, moving stealthily through the enemy base, taking out guards, and disabling defenses.
