The Chronicles of Narnia

The world of Narnia is a magical land where animals speak, mythical creatures roam, and ancient prophecies shape the destiny of kingdoms. Created by the great lion Aslan, Narnia is a place that exists in a realm separate from our own, yet it can be reached by those who seek it through unexpected means—such as the back of a wardrobe.

The Chronicles of Narnia begins with four siblings—Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie—who are evacuated from London during World War II to the countryside home of Professor Kirke. One day, while playing hide-and-seek, Lucy stumbles upon an old wardrobe in a spare room. To her amazement, she finds that the wardrobe leads to a snow-covered forest in a mysterious land known as Narnia. There, she meets a faun named Mr. Tumnus, who explains that Narnia is under the control of the White Witch, a tyrant who has cast the land into an eternal winter.

Lucy soon returns to her siblings, but they don’t believe her fantastic tale. However, they too eventually discover the truth and are drawn into Narnia, where they join a rebellion against the White Witch’s reign. Guided by Aslan, the noble lion and the true king of Narnia, the Pevensie children find themselves at the center of an ancient prophecy: they are destined to sit upon the thrones of Cair Paravel and lead Narnia into a new age of peace.

As the children grow to accept their roles as rulers, they encounter both friends and foes along the way. They fight alongside talking animals, dwarfs, and centaurs, while facing the Witch’s army of wolves and evil creatures. But it is Aslan’s sacrifice and resurrection that turn the tide of the battle, signaling the end of the Witch’s reign.
