The Forbidden Kingdom is an action-packed fantasy adventure that brings together two legendary martial arts icons, Jackie Chan and Jet Li, in a visually stunning tale inspired by classic Chinese folklore. Directed by Rob Minkoff, the film follows the journey of a teenage boy named Jason Tripitikas (Michael Angarano), who is a fan of martial arts films.

Jason’s life takes a dramatic turn when he discovers an ancient staff while exploring a pawn shop. Transported to ancient China, he finds himself in a mystical realm where he must fulfill a prophecy to reunite the legendary Monkey King (Jet Li) with his magical staff. To do so, Jason teams up with Lu Yan (Jackie Chan), a drunken immortal warrior, and a fierce warrior princess named Golden Sparrow (Liu Yifei).

As they battle against the evil Jade Warlord (Collin Chou) and his minions, Jason must learn the true meaning of bravery, friendship, and self-discovery while honing his martial arts skills.
