Set in 19th-century Spain, Errementari: The Blacksmith and the Devil is a dark fantasy horror tale steeped in folklore and eerie atmosphere. The story unfolds in a remote village, where whispers of a reclusive and fearsome blacksmith, Patxi, spread fear among the locals. They say he’s a monster, a man cursed by his sins, living in an ominous forge deep in the woods. Few dare to approach him, and those who do never return.

One day, an orphaned girl named Usue, shunned by the villagers, stumbles upon Patxi’s hidden domain. What she discovers inside is beyond her wildest fears—a demonic prisoner, chained and tormented by the blacksmith. The demon, Sartael, pleads for freedom, spinning tales of betrayal and trickery.

But Patxi, a man haunted by a tragic past, knows better than to trust the devil. The lines between good and evil blur as Usue becomes entangled in the battle between man and demon, forcing her to make choices that could doom them all.

As an inquisitor arrives, seeking to uncover the blacksmith’s dark secrets, chaos erupts. With the village closing in and supernatural forces at play, the truth about Patxi’s past and his deal with the devil comes to light. Twists and turns unravel a tale of vengeance, redemption, and the ultimate price of bargaining with darkness.

With stunning cinematography, a haunting score, and a rich blend of folklore and horror, Errementari delivers a gripping and visually arresting experience. It’s a gothic fable where demons may not be the greatest monsters, and redemption often comes at a terrifying cost.
