The cast brings fresh energy. Gordon Cormier as Aang captures both the innocence and the burden of the Avatar. Katara and Sokka feel grounded, and Zukoโarguably the hardest role to get rightโhas real emotional weight. Some scenes may feel rushed compared to the animated pacing, but the heart of the story is still there: balance, identity, and the cost of war.
This isnโt a perfect retelling, but it respects the source. And that, for many fans, is enough.
