Logan 2 (2025)

Logan 2 (2025)
Hugh Jackman and Dafne Keen return
*Movie review* (English | 1500 characters)
Logan 2 continues years after the gruesome events of Logan (2017), reintroducing Hugh Jackman as an elderly, battle-scarred Werewolf who lives isolated on the edge of a broken world. Mutants are almost extinct, the planet is colder and cruel. But when an adult Laura (Daphne Keen), now fully evolved to X-23, tracks you down with a warning about a new government initiative that creates hybrid mutants using her DNA, history takes on a new momentum.

Reluctantly entangled in wrestling, Logan becomes the reluctant mentor to a group of genetically modified youth as he faces the decline of his powers and the ghosts of a violent past. At its emotional core, the film explores the complex bond between Logan and Laura: a connection based on pain, protection, and quiet love.
The cinematography leans towards a raw, realistic style, with raw hand-to-hand combat and tense confrontations that evoke the original’s visceral realism. Jackman delivers one of his most vulnerable performances to date, while Keen dominates the screen with equal parts fierceness and feeling.
Logan 2 is more than a comeback: it’s an adjustment. Dark yet beautiful, intense yet deeply human, captures the essence of legacy and sacrifice. A story of superheroes wrapped in pain and survival, closing one chapter and daring to open another.
Rating: 9/10 – A touching and unforgettable continuation of Lobezno’s legacy and the powerful rise of X-23.
